Design in Details
I had the incredible opportunity to work as an assistant art director for “Bigg Boss,” produced by Endemol Shine. It was an unforgettable experience, particularly due to the immense attention to detail required in designing the set. Every wall is meticulously crafted, and the design leaves no surface untouched, ensuring that the house is visually engaging from every angle.
I had the privilege of working on multiple versions of the show across different languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Despite the regional variations, the core essence of the “Bigg Boss” house remains intact, with unique touches for each language.
The challenge was immense, as we had just 30 days to construct the entire set, which includes both the “Bigg Boss” house and the eviction stage. Everything, from the kitchen to the bathrooms, is fully functional, adding to the authenticity of the environment for the contestants.
The experience of seeing such a detailed, operational space come to life in such a short period of time was truly rewarding, making it one of the most memorable projects of my career.
