I had the amazing opportunity to work as an assistant art director on the set of “Indian Idol,” which was an unforgettable experience. The challenge of building the entire setup, from the audition spaces to the main performance stage, within just 20 days was both intense and rewarding.

The show’s format, with its multiple phases, required us to design versatile sets that could transition smoothly between different stages of the competition. From the excitement of the auditions to the grandeur of the live performances, every element of the design needed to capture the energy and emotion of the journey the contestants go through.

Creating a stage that feels like a spectacular arena, while also ensuring that it highlights the performers and the music, was a key focus. The timeline was tight, but seeing the final product come to life on screen made it all worth it. It was an incredible experience working on such a beloved and high-energy show.
